  How We Do It

This is the main philosophy behind the work with our youngest scholars. "THINK - PLAN - DO" is all about the discovery of PROCESSES. Processes facilitate the world around us and make it possible to generate measurable outcomes. From this we learn how to predict the probability of success and consider any needs for modification prior to downfalls. While learning to navigate this process may be challenging, it has proven to be a successful tool for effective people.  Early mastery in navigating the art of Process strips away  the countless levels of frustration experienced by those who seemingly never master this principle. While there is no easy path to success, EMCC makes sure our participants are empowered by practicing useful behaviors that scaffold success driven habits. Kinder scholars will tackle CA Core Standards like: 

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.1.D -Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet and  CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.3.B - Associate the long and short sounds with common spellings (graphemes) for the five major vowels

First Grade scholars will tackle CA Core Standards like: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.3.B - Associate the long and short sounds with common spellings (graphemes) for the five major vowels Math & Science Core will also be addressed.
